Learning to Zentangle

Yes, that’s a real word – Zentangle.  It’s an art-y way of doodling.  According to Zentangle.com it is “…an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns”.  I first learned about it from some of my Scrap Happy friends and thought I might give it a try.  I’ve been dabbling with it off and on for a year now and have been enjoying my efforts.

I’ve been learning on my own through websites, trial & error.  I’ve just signed up for two classes:

  1. an in person class at A Work of Heart Studio.
  2. a free scrapinar hosted by my friend Lain Ehmann.

If you’re local to San Jose, CA, it would be great to see you at A Work of Heart!  And if you’re in another part of the world, the scrapinar is a live online event that anyone can attend.
