Forever Friday: Using the Forever Mobile App

If you’re a frequent reader here, you know that I do quite a bit of traveling.   Like most, I take tons of pictures with my phone.  One of the biggest questions I am asked is how to get my phone pictures off the device and safe?  One of my favorite tools is the Forever Mobile App.

Once the app is installed, I suggest you set the sync options as well as the cellular options.  From the opening page, tap the three lines in the upper left corner.

My settings have the Auto Sync On and the Cellular Data Off.

While you’re here, let’s play with a couple of the other features of the app.  We spend so much time with our phones so this app allows us to work with our photos by putting them into albums, tagging pictures and including the story behind the pictures.

To add a picture to an album, simply long press on a photo to select it.  Then tap the three dots in the upper right and select Add to Album and pick the appropriate album.

When you tap on a picture it opens full screen.  Clicking the i in the right corner will give you the photo information..  This is where you can add your description (tell the story) and tags.

And of course you can share right from the app!
